DARe (Dynamic Attachment Re-patterning experience) is a series of live or recorded programs designed to help individuals and therapists gain a competent understanding of Attachment theory, Attachment disruptions, and healing methods to repair Attachment injury and trauma.

DARe consists of four modules. The first module is a pre-requisite for all others because it contains the foundational information required to accurately complete the three other modules, which can be completed in any order after DARe 1.

DARe 1: Healing Early Attachment Wounds

This foundational course is designed to help therapists and individuals understand Attachment adaptations.

  • Secure
  • Avoidant
  • Ambivalent
  • Disorganized

We will discuss how to identify your own Attachment style and how to identify Attachment styles in others, whether it be your partner, child, or a client. By accurately identify Attachment adaptations, you can learn to communicate and support both yourself and others more effectively.

DARe 2: Creating Healthy Adult Relationships

Have you ever wondered why you behave a certain way in relationships or why your partner pulls away or clings too tightly? DARe 2 is all about adult relationships and how our adaptations can impact the success and quality of our intimate partnerships.

How do we stop making the same mistakes over and over? How can we learn to self-regulate and efficiently co-regulate? Learn how to experience greater intimacy and fulfillment in your adult relationships during this module.

DARe 3: The Neurobiology of Loving Relationships

How does the wiring of the brain impact our relationships? Learn about the role of neuroscience in Attachment and how to rewire the brain toward healing. Diane Poole Heller, PhD has created these workshops on the foundation that we are designed to heal and designed for Secure Attachment.

Discover how to leverage neuroscience in your favor and enjoy healthy, Secure Attachment and techniques to heal trauma.

DARe 4: From Wound to Wellness

Traumatic experiences imprint on the brain and can have both psychological and somatic symptoms that make Secure Attachment difficult. In DARe 4, we discuss Disorganized Attachment, victim-perpetrator dynamics, and trauma.

Feeling broken makes day-to-day life sad, more difficult, and creates the feeling of being stuck. DARe 4 is all about learning to heal the most complex Attachment disruptions and wounds that hold us back.

To see our full calendar, visit the events page on our website. Our live trainings provide a safe place for exploration and healing in a supportive and compassionate environment. You do not need any specialized training or skills to participate. While DARe’s inception initially focused on therapists expanding their capabilities, we quickly realized that this work benefits individuals and professionals alike.
