DVD, ~1 hour with 30–45 min discussion included

Tom has chronic neck pain. He is curious if it relates to holding a teenage friend while he died after being mortally wounded in a violent knife attack. Tom had held his friend’s aorta to try to stop the bleeding – the same side and spot of his unrelenting pain pattern.  While Tom renegotiates grief, survival guilt and horror locked in the eyes and body, the pain disappears. He returns to a sense of expansiveness and a joy in living that had been restricted by this horrific experience.
