DVD, ~1 hour with 30–45 min discussion included
G. wants to heal sexual Woundedness after boundary invasions from an uncle who threatened to kill both of them if she did not comply. She regains her voice to speak about the secret, to say “NO” to him, and to eventually stop him. She recovers her active defensive movements and accesses protective support from her husband.
Due to the sexual conflict resulting from this incident she missed the natural development of innocent flirting. In contrast to the danger she encountered we discuss harmlessness of natural sexual exploration, and explain how perpetrators often strategize to “groom” children toward gradually inappropriate touch. She feels she inhabits her body more now and is released from the shame and guilt related to her uncle’s actions.
